This week’s very interesting word was chosen by Junebug. And I spent some time pondering what to do with it.
I thought a bit about growing older. I thought also about how incensed I get at the advertisments for anti-ageing products. I thought a bit about ironing (and how I rarely do it).
And then, as we were driving home from our daytrip to Aberystwyth, I looked at the hills and saw… wrinkles.
As with landscapes, so with us. Wrinkles and bumps, scrapes and exposed bits – all signs of having been around a bit, of having rubbed along with what the world (and the elements) throws at you. And all part of being interesting, individual and having survived.
Go and check out Junebug’s blog to see what the others have done with ‘Wrinkle’ – and come back here on Monday to find out what the next word will be!
